A brother, a sister and a friend.
We find our inspiration in old movies, late-night biking trips, second-hand shops, picnics and love.
Paperfangs recently released two free songs on their soundcloud page, and you can still hear those there:
A PHOTO INTERVIEW WITH PAPERFANGS The innovative website A NEGATIVE NARRATIVE make interviews with bands, but instead of answering with words, the artists have to take a photograph for each question. We are collaborating with A Negative Narrative on this single-series, and they have made photo-interviews with our single-artists. Visit http://anegativenarrative.com/ and see more bands’ photographic answers to their interview questions.
THE COVER SONG:
We have encouraged the single-bands to make a cover version of a song they think deserve more attention.
Paperfangs have chosen to cover “Violet”, originally written and performed by Kiss Kiss Fantastic.
The song is available on KKF’s free EP “The Red/Blue Shift” EP, which you can download from the band’s Bandcamp page. Watch the video for “Violet” above.
The Covered Artist: Kiss Kiss Fantastic
Jeremy also has his own solo-project, Optimist Park, which is a tiny bit more ambient than KKF, but equally great. His music is also given away for free. Get it from here: http://optimistpark.bandcamp.com
