EARDRUMSPOP MONTHLY DIGITAL SINGLES

This autumn we will start releasing a series of free, monthly digital singles.

THE FACTS:
BASIC FACTS | FACTS FOR MUSICIANS | FACTS FOR ILLUSTRATORS

The singles will have all the qualities from the compilations, – good cover art, a booklet and of course good music.
They will only be released digitally, not on any physical formats
.

The singles will include 2 original songs + probably also a cover-song of a band the single-artist think deserve more attention (no big, famous bands allowed here…)
. Both these bands will be featured in the single’s booklet.

For the booklet, we have started a partnership with the online magazine A Negative Narrative (A.N.N.), who do photo- interviews with bands. The bands answer by sending in photos instead of words. A.N.N. will interview the single-bands, and the photo-results will be published both in the booklet and on A.N.N.’s website.

We’re currently working on the release-plan + searching for new bands and illustrators.

If you want to be a part of this, either as a musician or an illustrator, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll give you more info about the project.

ILLUSTRATORS:
We need illustrations in many different styles and colours, since our music will be in several different styles and moods
. Some will need sweet, almost cartoonish artworks, and other will need darker, more experimental works. And others again will need something completely different.

We need contact with illustrators in several different genres who may be interested in doing something for us. We may not have a band ready for you at once, but we will contact you at once we find someone who we think may fit your style.

Since everything we do is done for free, we do not have any money to pay you with. We will do our best to give you a good presentation in the booklet, on our pages, on facebook, twitter etc.. It may be a good and different way to show your works to a new audience
. Contact us if you are interested!

Have a look at the Releases page to see some of the artworks good illustrators have made for us so far:

We’re also working as we speak with illustrator interviews. You will find them under About > Our Illustrators.

The first thing we need from you, is an email with some basic info and a link to where we can see samples of your work
When we have approved you, and connected you with a band, we only need one illustration from you, the cover image, – no back-cover or inlays are needed

coordinated with the primary physician managing, for What is sildenafil citrate? consideration the cost and availability of testing resources..

. The image should be in jpg or png, 300dpi, and with dimensions 12×12 cm / 1417×1417 pixels.

If you want to be a part of this, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll give you more info about the project.

BANDS AND ARTISTS:
We are interested in contact with bands and artists in genres like indiepop, folk pop and electronica, as long as your style may fit the description “warm and melodic”. It may be noisy or calm, dreamy or upbeat, – we might like it, so please try.
If we want to make a single with you, we will need 2 original songs + 1 cover-song of a band you think deserve more attention
. The sound quality of the original songs should be good, but the cover version may be lo-fi recorded.

We will also need a short biography for the booklet, and we will send over some interview questions for you to answer.
We prefer that the songs on the singles are licensed under Creative Commons, but it’s up to you. We want the songs to be shared, – to be heard by as many as possible -, but we also want to take care of the artist’s rights and have some control over the use of the songs. You can read more about our use of Creative Commons and an explanation of it here. Again, – we prefer doing it this way, but it’s your song, so it’s up to you.

The songs you release by us are yours and stay yours. We do not claim any ownership of any music we release.
We need the music in both wav and high quality mp3 (320 kbps).

Since everything we do is done for free, we do not have any money to pay you with. We will do our best to give you a good presentation in the booklet, on our pages, on facebook, twitter etc.. We also try to follow up “our” artists after the release, and we often present news about these bands on our Facebook and twitter-pages long after they have released something on our label. It may be a good and different way to show your music to a new audience. Contact us if you are interested!

If you want to be a part of this, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll give you more info about the project.
